Guess the Weight of the Rock

APAC Open House on June 15th 2013 at the Lathrop/Plattsburg Quarry in NW Missouri

We would like to extend a Big Thank You to everyone that came out that Saturday to enjoy the festivities. It was a successful turn out with roughly several hundred people attending. The Kids Corner with the bouncy houses and sand lot digging for jewels was a key focus that day.

We are looking forward to next year’s Open House and please look for the advertisement in the papers or at your areas APAC Quarry Scale house.

Thank you again for your support.

Open House at Olathe

Thank you to everyone who came to our annual open-house at the Olathe quarry on October 6, 2012. Special thanks to the Olathe Fire Department, Foley Equipment and our fine employees for their support of the event. Lastly, congratulations to Karen Ritchey of Gardner, Kansas for coming the closest to guessing the weight of the rock. Her guess with 4,568 pounds and the actual weight was 4,580 pounds.

For coming the closest she won a 32” flat screen television. APAC thanks the Olathe community for their support and we look forward to seeing you next year.

Thank you very much to APAC for your contribution to our mission team. Every year we collaborate with churches from Georgia and Louisiana to travel to Trujillo, Honduras. It is a very small and very poor mountain village.

These churches have built and work to support and maintain Trujillo Christian School. While locals work in the school, it is generous donations and support from people, the church,  and companies here in the states that make it possible for this school to continue to change lives a world away. It has become one of the most widely respected schools in the entire country due to the number and quality of students they send to the universities.

Thank you again,
151st St Church of Christ
